P006—C&MA Church IJmond

Dave & Henny Wijker

On July 1, 2004 Dave and Henny Wijker started as pastor in the service of the ‘Evangelical Foundation C&MA Church IJmond.’ The goal of this foundation is the establishment of a C&MA Church in an area in the North-West of the Netherlands, called ‘IJmond.’

Dave and Henny want to build a church that is relevant for people in this day and age, who aren’t used to coming to church. It is their purpose that people will feel welcome and at home, in order to create openness to hear the gospel of Jesus Christ. ‘IJmond’ is an area consisting of 120,000 people, of whom roughly about 110,000 people don’t know Christ.
